Help! New Office - Volunteers Needed

Volunteers Needed - Decorators, donators, support

Help needed!

We collected the keys to our new office on Tuesday 27th and have a small 'grace' period before we move in.

The offices are in need of a touch of paint so we need vounteers to decorate and renovate and donations of furniture, equipment, carpet and money. Is that all! Probably not but for now please help get us tidy.

Once we are in we need volunteers for a couple of hours one morning a week on a rota basis to make sure the offices are occupied and encourage it to become a 'drop in' support centre, rather than just a repository for files etc.

The office is on Park Road near Palatine Road. Further information will be added please call us if you can help.

Happy New Year and Photo Gallery for Christmas Events

Happy New Year to all Tigger Friends.

Feedback from the Wacky Warehouse included:-

* Normally my son feels unable to relax and play freely. However

today I saw him relax and engage well with the other children

present. Thank you Tiggers and Wacky Warehouse

* As always with Tiggers - a safe environment was provided whereby

my child was able to 'be himself' without being judged or ridiculed.

* More of the same please!

* Lovely morning. A few more volunteers on the equipment with the

children would of been a bonus

* It was nice to see Ryan have his face painted. First time in 11

years AND he queud! Last time was when he was 3 and he screamed

the place down.

* Keep up the good work. We are so grateful.

Parents were unanimous that they would definitely come again if we

arranged it again.

Feedback from the Cinema event:-

* They both enjoyed themselves

* It was good. Well organised.

* Fabulous again. Thank you so much, to Nigel as well. So great to

_not_ have to worry about 'shusshing' all the time. 10/10!

* Really enjoyed smaller cinema, staff were very relaxing. Will

definitely come again. Cheers

* Enjoyed it. Liked smaller screen and being with people I know

* Fantastic

* This was very well managed. Thank you to those involved.

* Thought the Tigger 'this way' signs were a definite bonus

Of those answering the question on coming again if the event was

organised again, the verdict was unanimously 'definitely'!

41 affected by autism and carers attended the event.

WINTER EVENT PROGRAMME, Trampoline Xmas Party brought forward to 10th Dec at Stanley Park

More detail than the Xmas list

Click here to read the programme

* The Xmas Party Session will be *this* Sunday (10th) instead of next week. Reason being that the Sports Centre have an inspection of the trampolines on Monday and if they need attention we may not be able to bounce on the 17th when we had planned the Xmas session.

The bouncing may be slightly shorter on time because we are trying to allow all members to come, but the session will be free so you won't be short changed. There will be a Santa in the sensory room and a present for all the bouncers.

* January 17th. If this session is cancelled due to non availability of trampolines, you will be alerted by txt. Please ensure we have your current mobile number. Details will also be on the website.

We only found out about the trampoline inspection on Thursday so it's been rather a dash to get the party brought forward by a week.
